Cape Town City Operations
The City of Cape Town also operates three main safety units. These are Law Enforcement, Metro Police and Traffic. The City operates a call centre 24/7 for emergencies. Law Enforcement
Law Enforcement is responsible for enforcing the City’s by-laws relating to Streets and Public Places by-laws such as noise and anti-social behaviour. [Add in link to such by-laws]. Law Enforcement can be contacted on 0860 765 423. The Law Enforcement office for the Sea Point area is located under the Pavilion Pools in Beach Road Sea Point. Metro Police and Traffic
This provides support to the other agencies in the area and often engages with SAPS, Law Enforcement and Traffic in operations within our community on various matters relating to criminal activities.

Traffic is specifically responsible for maintaining traffic laws. Traffic holds regular operations in the area in relation to traffic offenses by all road users.
